What we provide
LoanMatch SA is a free comparison and information website. We are not a bank or credit provider. We do not make lending decisions, and we do not provide financial, legal or debt advice. Nothing on the website is an offer of credit or a recommendation that a particular loan is suitable for you.
Our loan match questionnaire is a general guide based on the amount and term you choose. It does not assess your personal circumstances, credit record or affordability.
Who can use the website
The website is intended for adults aged 18 and over who are resident in South Africa.
Accuracy of information
We take provider information from the providers’ own websites and other public sources, and we review it regularly. Loan amounts, terms, costs and eligibility rules can change without notice, so always confirm the latest details, and read the provider’s pre-agreement statement and quotation, before you apply. Listing a provider does not mean it will approve your application.
Third-party websites
The website links to lenders and brokers that we do not own or control. When you apply with a provider, your agreement is with that provider, and its own terms and privacy policy apply. We are not responsible for a provider’s decisions, products or conduct.
Commission
We may receive a commission from providers when you visit them or take out a loan after clicking a link on our website. This does not change what you pay. See how we make money.
Using the website
You may use the website for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not misuse it, for example by trying to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its operation or copying its content in bulk.
Intellectual property
The design, text and other content of the website belong to LoanMatch SA or are used with permission. Provider names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify those providers.
Liability
We provide the website “as is”. To the extent allowed by law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2008, LoanMatch SA is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the website, from relying on its content, or from your dealings with any provider listed on it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot lawfully be limited.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
