This policy explains what personal information LoanMatch SA (“we”, “us”) collects when you use loanmatchsa.co.za, why we collect it and what rights you have. We process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect and why
- Loan match questionnaire. The amount, repayment period and priority you choose are processed in your own browser to show a suggested provider. These answers are not sent to us or stored by us.
- Contact form. If you send us a message, we collect your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message. We use these only to respond to you, and we keep them no longer than we need to for that purpose or to meet a legal obligation.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard server log information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is used to keep the site secure and running properly.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, your ID number, bank details, payslips or other financial documents. We do not process loan applications.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this website. If we introduce them, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.
Third-party services
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests these fonts, Google receives your IP address and basic browser information. Google may process this information outside South Africa, under its own privacy policy and safeguards.
Links to lenders and brokers
When you click through to a provider, you leave our website. The provider may use its own cookies or tracking links to recognise that you came from LoanMatch SA. Anything you share with a provider, including a loan application, is governed by that provider’s own privacy policy, so please read it before you apply.
Who we share information with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website, such as our hosting and email providers, or where the law requires us to.
Keeping your information safe
Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the information we hold against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Your rights
